Terms of Service

Leanhold is sold as an automatically renewing subscription. On this website it is billed by Stripe; in the iPhone app it is billed by Apple, and the section “Subscriptions bought in the iPhone app” below applies instead of the trial, cancellation and refund terms in this section. The quiz and your results are free; the full plan requires a subscription. The website plans and prices (USD) are:

• Annual plan: $59.99 per year, billed automatically. Your 7-day free trial starts today; your first charge of $59.99 happens when the trial ends (day 8) and then every year until you cancel. Cancel anytime in one tap from Settings, the customer portal, or the link in your receipt email. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing. Every plan includes a 14-day money-back guarantee.
• 3 months plan: $34.99 every 3 months, charged today and then automatically every 3 months until you cancel. Cancel anytime in one tap from Settings, the customer portal, or the link in your receipt email. Every plan includes a 14-day money-back guarantee.
• Monthly plan: $14.99 every month, charged today and then automatically every month until you cancel. Cancel anytime in one tap from Settings, the customer portal, or the link in your receipt email. Every plan includes a 14-day money-back guarantee.

Trial. Only the Annual plan includes a free trial. You must add a payment method to start it; if you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins and the annual price is charged automatically on the first day after the trial. You will be reminded by email before the trial ends.

Renewal. Each plan renews automatically at the end of its billing period at the then-current price for that plan, until you cancel. Your payment method on file is charged on each renewal date.

Cancellation. Cancel a website subscription anytime in one tap from Settings, from the customer portal (the "Manage subscription" button), or from the link in any receipt email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then and are not charged again. Cancelling during the free trial means you are never charged.

Refunds. Every website plan includes a 14-day money-back guarantee from the first charge: email hello@leanhold.com within 14 days and we refund that charge in full. Beyond that window, charges for a started billing period are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise.

Price changes. If we change the price of your plan, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the change applies to your next renewal, so you can cancel first. Continuing after that date means you accept the new price.

If you subscribe in the Leanhold iPhone app, the purchase is made with your Apple Account and is billed, renewed and refunded by Apple, under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

• Automatic renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase (or, with a free trial, when the trial ends). The subscription renews automatically for the same period and at the price shown in the app unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
• Managing and cancelling. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings (on iPhone: Settings › your name › Subscriptions), or from Settings › Your subscription in the app. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app or your Leanhold account does not cancel an Apple subscription.
• Refunds. Apple handles all payments and refunds for purchases made in the app; we can’t issue them. Request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. The 14-day guarantee above applies only to subscriptions bought on this website.
• Prices. Apple shows the price in your local currency, including any applicable taxes, before you buy. If the price of your subscription changes, Apple tells you in advance and, where the law or Apple’s rules require it, asks for your consent before you are charged the new price.

Apple’s Standard EULA. If you downloaded the app from the App Store, your licence to use the app is also governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula). Where these terms and that agreement differ, the one that gives you more protection applies. In particular:

• These terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and its content, and for its maintenance and support (write to hello@leanhold.com).
• Your licence to the app is non-transferable and lets you use it on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as the App Store Usage Rules permit.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the app; any other claims, losses or costs from such a failure are our responsibility, to the extent these terms or the law make us responsible.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims you or a third party have about the app or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app does not meet a legal or regulatory requirement, consumer-protection or privacy claims, and claims that the app infringes someone’s intellectual property.
• You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, once you accept them, may enforce them against you as they relate to the app.

Leanhold provides general education and habit coaching about nutrition, protein, hydration, strength training and common GLP-1 side effects. It is not medical advice, does not create a patient-provider relationship, and is not a substitute for the judgment of your doctor, pharmacist or dietitian.

The Muscle Risk Score, protein target, protocols and weight projection shown on the results page are illustrative estimates generated by simple rules from your answers. They are not diagnoses, predictions or individualized clinical recommendations.

Weight, body composition and side effects vary widely from person to person and depend on factors we cannot see. We make no guarantee that you will lose weight, preserve muscle, avoid regaining weight, or experience fewer side effects by following anything on this site or in a future plan. Any figures, studies or projections we show describe populations or scenarios, not you.

You must be at least 18 years old and located in a place where using the site is lawful. By using it you confirm that the information you give is about you (or someone who has asked you to enter it on their behalf) and is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

You agree not to:

• use the site in a way that breaks any law or infringes anyone’s rights;
• scrape, copy or redistribute the site’s content, quiz or plans other than for your personal use;
• attempt to access data that is not yours, probe or disrupt our systems, or submit automated traffic;
• misrepresent who you are or give us another person’s email without their permission.

The site, its design, text, illustrations, quiz and plan logic belong to us or our licensors. You may use the plan we generate for your personal, non-commercial purposes. Trademarks such as Ozempic, Wegovy, Zepbound, Mounjaro and Rybelsus belong to their respective owners; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by any pharmaceutical company.

How we handle your information, including the health data you share in the quiz, is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of health, data or profits, arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Our total liability to you for any claim related to the site or the subscription is limited to the greater of US $100 and the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. The “last updated” date above shows the current version; material changes will be emailed to everyone with an active subscription. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
